Penerapan Ergonomic Checkpoints dalam Evaluasi Lingkungan Kerja di Area Crusher PT. Wavin Duta Jaya

The title of this research is “The implementation of Ergonomic Checkpoints to Evaluate Working Environment at Crusher Area in PT. Wavin Duta Jaya”. This article represents the application of Ergonomic Checkpoints at Wavin Duta Jaya, Co. Ltd. Wavin Duta Jaya, Co. Ltd as one of the biggest pipes producer in Indonesia produces variant types of pipes for construction needs. In order to suit the customer needs, the production line is required to work fast efficiently without forgetting the ergonomic aspects for the workers. Therefore, writer did evaluation using Ergonomic Checkpoints in this company to see if the work environmental in this company especially at crusher area has been worked well or not. The aspects of Ergonomic Checkpoints used for this research including : material handling aspect, safety, work station design, lightning, warnings, hazardous, and supporting facilities. From all seven aspects, the material handling aspect contributes the highest incompatibilities that resulting this aspect came as the first priority in determining improvement suggestions. Besides of the Ergonomic Checkpoints, 5R method application was used as one of the evaluation method of work environmentals in this company.
